For more than 50 years (since 1949), we have run an eight-week summer camp for up to 50 member and non-member children and grandchildren. To attend, a child must have completed first grade and be at least 7 years old before camp starts

Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 9 to 4. There is a camp director and 10 counselors to oversee activities.

The Cataumet Club Camp offers instruction in tennis, sailing and swimming as well as participating in games, crafts and competitions. Throughout the summer there may be special events like overnights. Camp ends with a Final Night of camper skits and awards. For details, please refer to the Enrollment section of this site.

All counselors are CPR and first aid certified.

Sailing Instructors are US Sailing certified. A variety of boat types are used (420 Sailboats,  Optimists and of course rowboats.) The Swimming program is taught by a Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor. Tennis lessons are taught in small groups on the three clay courts of the Cataumet Club. Group tennis instruction and competition are included. There are also games, crafts, rainy day activities, overnight camping trips and day trips!  No more than 50 campers are enrolled in any one week.
